Jy Lin Trading is one of the leading ornamental fish importer and exporter in the world. Founded in 1989, Jy Lin Trading began as an ornamental fish importer with a wide range of species bred in its specialised fish farm by a highly trained team. Now the company is focusing on the export of more than 500 species of ornamental fish and shrimp, to its clients ranging from the U.S, Germany, the UK to Japan, Singapore and other countries around the globe.

In 2002, Jy Lin Trading has further extended its business into biotechnology research by establishing a Transgenic R&D Department with a focus on the development of fluorescent fish. Jy Lin has received a high level of recognition from the government and biotechnological awards. The achievements were publicised amongst media around the world, such as BBC, Thomson Reuters, National Geographic, WSJ and Discovery Channel.

So far the fluorescent fish have been displayed only at closed events or special occasions. The first public exhibition of fluorescent fishes will be held at the Jy Lin Group Hotel following its grand opening in 2019. The customers will be able to enjoy the quiet nature of Taiwan, surrounded by mountains and the blue sky with exclusive access to fluorescent fish and luminous algae art exhibits.
